MUSING offers business to business semantic-based Business Intelligence (BI) services enabling users to gather, manage, analyse, share and transform huge amounts of data into available knowledge and decision-ready information. Its goal is to assist the financial sector in the assessment of financial policy, financial monitoring, decision making support for credit risk management; to facilitate international exchange of information on market knowledge, potential counterparts and countries to assess new productivity sources; to fulfil the requirements of IT-Operational Risk Management new regulations which take into account an array of extended risk factors and encompass sophisticated models.
In particular, MUSING currently focuses on the following domains:

Financial Risk Management (FRM): FRM includes all the services concerned with the supply of information to build a creditworthiness profile of a subject from the collection and extraction of data from public and private sources up to the enrichment of these data with indices, scores and ratings;

Internationalisation: Internationalisation is the set of coordinated actions which an enterprise may take to penetrate foreign markets or to benefit from resources originating from other markets;

IT Operational Risk (IT OpR): IT Operational Risk Management focuses on two main aspects:
- operational risks central for Financial Institutions as a consequence of the Basel-II Accord, and
- operational risks arising specifically from enterprise’s IT systems (IT-OpR) such as software, hardware, telecommunications, utility outage/disruption.
